Given its importance to Cambodia’s future development, the Government has committed increasing budget to the sector. According to Budget Law for 2015, the sector will receive $391 million, representing $61 million up from 2014. This is equivalent to 17.07% of the overall recurrent budget, compared to 15.5% in 2013 and 16.2% in 2014.
