Introductory Seminar on ISO 37001 and Corporate Integrity System
Transparency International Cambodia organised an Introductory Seminar on ISO 37001 and Corporate Integrity System on 24 October 2017 at Sunway Hotel from 8am to 12pm. There are presentations from Miss. Sophia Aspesi, Business Integrity Manager of TI Cambodia, Mr. Somvannda Kong, Web Developer and Dr. KM Loi, Vice-Chair of ISO/PC 278; ISO Expert. There were around 60 participants from business sector, government, civil society and students attended the seminar. There are some interesting the take away knowledge from the seminar. Likewise, the participants could be able to understand:
- How each ISO is created especially the process of ISO 37001 was established;
- The reason of creating an ISO on Anti-bribery Management System -Introduction to UK Bribery Act and US Foreign Corrupt Practice Acts
- Introduction to UK Bribery Act and US Foreign Corrupt Practice Acts
- The application of this ISO in various countries and how it is encouraged to apply in ASEAN countries especially with good example of Indonesia ‘Tone from the Top’
It was also a wonderful achievement to see many participants show interest in taking ISO 37001 seriously and plan to apply for our Corporate Integrity System.
