Joint Principles for Adaptation: A Civil Society Initiative to Promote Effective and Equitable Adaptation to Climate Change

The Joint Principles for Adaptation are a statement by civil society organizations from across the world on what they consider to be a benchmark for good adaptation planning and implementation. They are a tool for ensuring that national policies and plans meets the need and fulfill the rights of the most vulnerable people to adapt to climate change.
